As Autism Awareness Month 2012 draws to a close, advocates for the growing number of children and adults suffering from the condition hope everyone who participated in a fundraising walk, displayed an autism awareness puzzle ribbon or contributed to a nonprofit devoted to autism spectrum disorder support won’t forget about them until next year.
